The remnants come from torn or damaged pieces of Persian antique rugs that could no longer be used as one whole rug, so they are put together as a patchwork rug to preserve the beautiful original weaving. The antique rug remnants are sourced from the rug weaving villages of Iran but the rug is made by village weavers in Lahore, Pakistan.
