Small irregularities in shapes, surfaces and finishes are hallmarks of the Aidan Gray aging and distressing techniques and should not be considered defects. Wood items may show chips, cracks, unevenness and splits and may increase in dry climates and over time, this is a natural aging process of the wood and should be expected. Weathered finishes may include runs in the finish to add to the authenticity. Rust wire and iron is finished to a powder coated base, when used outdoors it will rust over time. Exposed nail heads lend to an uneven edge and unevenness and roughness should be expected.
